Lap-Banding:  A Safe, Stable and Sustainable Solution for Permanent Weight Loss.

Of all weight loss surgeries the Lap-Band system is the least invasive.  Involving an adjustable silicon elastomer band that is surgically placed around the stomach, the quantity of food that it is possible to consume is restricted so that the patient  experiences a sense of fullness much earlier. Note: It should be noted that the longer the period that a Lap-Band has been in fitted the higher the possibility that the anatomy of the area that the Lap-Band has occupied will retain the characteristics and function of the Lap-Band itself, and accordingly some form of restriction may remain even when the Lap-Band is removed.
