Overview:
Medically known as” breast prosthesis”.
If you have breast implants whether for personal or medical reasons they can be removed at any time.
In its simple form this is an easy operation. This treatment tends to be quick and requires little recuperation time.
When there are other surgical procedures taking place then the duration and recovery period can take longer.
It is possible that some small breast modulation might be required.
An example could be “capsular contracture” if the scar tissue from the initial implant operation were to harden and irritate the area around the implants. In this situation the discomfort is approximately the same as experienced for the first implant operation. There are various medical reasons for removal, you need good medical advice from your GP or other specialist, then consult with our team of advisors who will then pass a completed questionnaire and photos on to one of our specialist surgeons.
